Four is a line of alcoholic drink which has been sold by a company of Chicago called Phusion Project. Four Loco is the most popular beverage drink of the company which has been marketed in United States in 2005. Till date it has been sold in 30 states of Europe. The company name four has been derived by the four ingredients of the drink that is: alcohol, caffeine, terrine, and Guarani.
Four Loco has contains 12% of the alcohol which has been three times more than the other alcoholic drinks that is the reason, several risk factor has been involved when it comes to alcoholic drinks and this is the only factor that loco drink has been banned in different collages and states of Europe and United states. This drink is very famous among the youngster of United States. In 2009 this drink were ranked fourth in the sales. The most important factor in this drink is that it boosts the energy level of the user which brings them to the new height of pleasure.
The company’s “Four” products has been criticized by many people in Unites states as well as in Europe and but due to the popularity of the product the appreciation it get from the user of the energy drinks, the sales of the product has been increasing day by day. As the ingredients of this drinks are so strong, and when caffeine combined with alcohol it boost the effect of alcohol. This is the only point where the health associations charge the company to change the ingredients or at least minimized the alcohol level in your drink. That is the reason in 2009 the company announces to reformulate the drink which is less alcoholic and more energetic.
The company came under major fine in 2010 when the university student has been used this drink and was facing some sever heart problem. His parents charge the company related to the drink they are offering and as the result the company has to pay the fine.
As always said that the excess of everything is bad, same applies to this condition. Although the drink id very good in taste and has been popular among the youngsters and they consider it as an energy drink but the most important factor of the drink if the presence of 12% alcohol which is just like a poison for the youngster. The regular use of the drink could make them alcoholic and drug addict. They will not remain in their senses if they could not control the usage of the drink.
That is the reason that in 2010 the Loco drink and the other three flavor of four drinks has been banned in United states whereas in January 2011 another drink called Loco XXX has been introduced in the market which has been approved by FDA and is not dangerous for health. This drink has been offering a brand new flavor of Loco drink which will be changing after every four month. As the drink is reformulated it not contains no caffeine and stimulants.
